Summer Internship Program Objectives

The MPSN Summer Internship Program has four main objectives:

To facilitate on-the-job practical training on Capitol Hill and with other public service policy making institutions
To offer graduate level education on the relations between Islam, public service and public policy development
To foster heightened awareness and appreciation of the diversity within the American Muslim community, with an emphasis on developing cohesive leadership rooted in an ethos of knowledge, ethics and public service
To expand and support the network of alumni who are the emerging leaders in the public service and public policy making arenas.
